PADI IDC Staff Instructor – IDCS

PADI-IDC-Staff-Instructor-Scuba-NationAs a seasoned PADI Instructor, you have wisdom and experience to share with up-and-coming PADI leaders and you know that continuing your education never ends. As an Instructor Development Course (IDC) Staff Instructor, you help bring up the next generation of PADI Instructors while gaining in-depth instructor-trainer knowledge.

Every PADI Instructor should set a personal goal to become an IDC Staff Instructor within 1-2 years of doing their IDC and many dive center or resort management positions require this level of Instructor experience and training, making this an important step if you are considering a career in the Dive Industry. You can also increase earning opportunities by being able to teach the PADI Assistant Instructor course independently and it’s a great chance to refresh and up-date yourself on teaching skills and background knowledge.

Our PADI IDC Staff Instructor course is designed to provide PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers with the additional training necessary to staff PADI Instructor Development programs. This course builds upon the IDC Staff Instructor candidate's experience and abilities as a dive educator while concentrating on developing evaluation and counseling skills. Because IDC Staff Instructors are an integral part of the PADI IDC, you set the stage for moving on to PADI Course Director as you present topics during the IDC and help shape PADI Divemaster and Assistant Instructors into PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors.
