Diving is Fun

Scuba Nation Diving Centre is the first and only PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre in Cambodia. We have offices in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville (on the coast) and we dive the islands off the coast.

Our team of multi-lingual PADI instructors are Cambodia’s most highly qualified and experienced dive professionals with years of teaching experience anticipating diver needs. With a commitment to only the best scuba safety and communications equipment, we operate to the highest international standards. Scuba Nation has a 100% safety record and all our instructors fully qualified PADI Professionals and trained in first aid. However for your peace of mind and free of charge, we provide PADI personal injury and evacuation insurance for every individual who participates in any diving, snorkelling or swimming activity with us.

As per PADI rules for the benefit of students, from January 1st, 2006 every student taking a PADI Course must own and keep their own manuals and certain materials for that course. At Scuba Nation, everything you need is included in the course, there are no hidden costs, so that’s no problem. Our liveaboard boat is a 2 deck boat. It is equipped with 2 fresh water showers, western toilet, cooking facilities, GPS, radio and fish-finder. We sleep on mattress beds on the lower and upper deck with sheets, blankets and pillows provided.

Our new daytrip boat is comfortably set up and has a pleasant sundeck where you can relax after diving or snorkelling. We have a big kitting up area with plenty of space for all your dive gear. The boat has 2 side entrances and the best dive ladders to allow you to easily exit the water after a dive. We have a western toilet on board and a fresh water shower to rinse off.

There is nothing similar in Cambodia; please check out the photos on this website. We also have an accompanying speed boat to assist in taking customers to and from the boat.

We offer daily diving trips and dive courses from beginner to instructor levels in English, French, German and Dutch. Groups are kept deliberately small to ensure a truly personalised course where you will have lots of fun. Teaching takes place in our air conditioned classroom, using the most up-to-date training methods and educational materials available. Use of our training pools makes learning to dive a very safe, relaxing & enjoyable experience.

Most of all, whether you’re doing a course or leisure diving, we believe diving should be fun, as that is why you do it, isn’t it?

PADI Scuba Diving Tips of The Day » When diving in cooler water a dry suit provides the most insulation for the diver but requires you to learn special techniques – get yourself some instruction. One of the biggest differences is that you mainly use your dry suit for buoyancy control and only use your BCD at the surface or in case of emergency.
