Scuba Nation GO PRO Academy’s Emergency First Response Instructor Course provides qualified Emergency First Responders with additional training necessary to teach the Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) and Care for Children courses. This 2 day course builds on your skills as a primary and secondary care provider and focuses on developing your instructional abilities. You will learn through independent study, classroom sessions and practice teaching assignments how to conduct the Emergency First Response programs.
If you are a current CPR/first aid instructor with another qualifying organization you may choose to earn the Emergency First Response Instructor rating by completing a prescribed program based on portions of the Emergency First Response Instructor Course or the Emergency First Response Instructor Crossover Program. This program will give you credit for your teaching experience and focuses on familiarizing you with the Emergency First Response program philosophy and structure.
The Emergency First Response Instructor Course goals are to: - Assure that you understand the Emergency First Response program structure, requirements and procedures.
- Familiarize you with the Emergency First Response program philosophy and prepare you to teach courses that are low-stress, performance-based and learner-centered and fun.
- Refine your primary care, secondary care and Care for Children skills to a role-model level.
- Provide you with practical suggestions for organizing and marketing your Emergency First Response courses.
- Encourage you to be active Emergency First Response Instructor and to use your skills to train others in the community.
To enroll in an Emergency First Response Instructor Course, you must: - Have completed a sanctioned course in adult and child/infant CPR within the past 24 months
- Have completed a sanctioned course in basic first aid within the past 24 months
- 18 years of age
If you are a practicing medical professional (e.g. paramedic, EMT, nurse, doctor) you can enroll without having taken the provider-level courses within the past 24 months.
Duration: Two days

- All equipment used is the standard resuscitation kit, Little Annie manikin, barriers etc (included for use in the price is all the equipment you need – no extra rental fees per day, unlike other outfits)

The cost for this life saving training is mere US$450 (roughtly GBP216 or Euro309), All Inclusive - This fee is the only fee and can be paid by Credit Card (CC) and of course in the ever acceptable US$ cash. Banks in Sihanoukville and Phnom Penh can also do ATM and CC withdrawals.
